In 2001, Douglas Electric Cooperative (DEC) saw a growing need for reliable internet access in the communities it served. To help fill that gap, the DEC Board of Directors launched Douglas Fast Net (DFN). What started as a small fiber network around Roseburg has grown into a regional network connecting communities from the Oregon Coast to the Cascades. Today, DFN is a 100% Oregon owned and operated fiber internet provider serving customers throughout Douglas, Coos and Lane counties.
