Douglas Electric Cooperative (DEC) awarded an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. to a local high school student for the trip of a lifetime. The contest winner will join other students from electric cooperatives across Oregon for an unforgettable look inside U.S. history and government.
Eligibility Requirements:
- The winner must be able to participate in the Youth Tour trip to Washington, D.C. on June 14-21, 2026.
- You must be a high school student 16+ years of age by June 2026.
- Live in the home of parent(s) or legal guardian(s) who is a current DEC member and whose primary residence is in Douglas Electric’s service territory.
- Submit a completed application form, including an essay or video, and a high-resolution digital photo of the applicant to DEC.
- Entries must be postmarked or emailed no later than February 2, 2026.
